Villa Poggio Ulivo Apartments

The residents were very polite, and the owner was approachable. The pool was great, though the overhead power lines and pylons nearby took away from it a bit. For the price in peak season, it was a real shame: in 30°C, the small garden house was unbearable, and there were no mosquito nets. The Wi-Fi worked, but the technology and TV were very outdated. The wooden exterior blinds were badly warped, and the electrical sockets weren’t secured properly. There was hardly any privacy with access to the pool and the other holiday apartment. The German Shepherd was kept in his kennel, barked at cars arriving and parking, and didn’t seem to like visitors. Even when he, Rolf, was barking, you wouldn’t want to go near him. The driveway takes getting used to, and parking is very limited. Still, thank you.

I was there to install a security door and an interior door, and met the woman who runs the place. She was polite, kind, and helpful. The location is pretty strategic, near the Affi toll booth, Lake Garda, and Monte Baldo!

The pool is great for hot days, and there’s a really good Italian restaurant just around the corner. The hospitality was fantastic!

We were welcomed with real warmth and hospitality at this lovely B&B. It’s a great place to stop overnight while traveling, or to stay longer. Highly recommended.
