The setting is unusual and lovely, and the hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was nice too, making this a great B&B for a short stay. Both Nemi lake and Albano lake are roughly ten minutes away, with swimming, sunbathing, and water sports to enjoy there.

I'm leaving a negative review, even though the property is in a beautiful spot near Castel Gandolfo with lovely mild temperatures. The room was dirty when we arrived in the evening, with lots of cobwebs. The bathroom was worse, with a dirty toilet seat and heavy limescale on the bidet tap. Then we pulled back the sheets and found hair on the pillow and among stained sheets. It was awful. Fortunately, we spotted a B&B employee, who changed the sheets for us, though the whole situation felt strange. Not a great experience. Breakfast was good, then we left.
