We arrived in the evening twenty days ago without a reservation and were still welcomed. The greeting was warm and helpful, and our room felt inviting and was well kept. The bathroom had all the amenities, and we could park inside the fenced garden. I plan to come back.

We came for one night as a couple, expecting a pleasant weekend, but the room was very cold. The heat pump barely put out warm air and couldn't be adjusted. Breakfast wasn't anything special either. It was a bad stay, and we won't return.

Celeste made us feel very welcome. She was kind, friendly, and really nice, and breakfast offered plenty of choices. The Hobbit House was quirky and unlike anywhere else, with a clean room, a distinctive shower, and Lord of the Rings decor. Just be aware that the bathroom has no door, only a blackout curtain, though that didn't bother us. I'd suggest adding air conditioning or a fan since the room has no window.

Breakfast was good, but we didn't feel especially welcome. Nobody explained things to us, so we had to ask whenever we needed information. The Hobbit House looked adorable outside, yet the dust and damp smell inside made us feel sick all weekend, even with the door open. We also found dust and spiders, which made it hard to relax. The cleanliness could use attention.

We stayed in a regular room during winter. The place is beautiful and worth experiencing, and the owner especially impressed us: very kind, discreet, and attentive to whether guests are happy. We'll come back to try the barrel experience.
