Locanda dell' Arcangelo served some of the best meals we had in Italy, which was a relief since finding food in town was challenging. We also visited Tipico, the hotel’s shop with local olive oils, jams, and wine. Francesca made everything easy and was a huge help. She even connected us with their preferred driving company to get from Rome to Rocca Massima, and Emilio was excellent. The hotel includes breakfast, though the hours are limited, and the dinner menu is excellent. Lunch wasn’t available when we visited. There are a few nearby restaurants, plus a small grocery with deli options for sandwiches. We spent three nights here for a wedding in Cori. We didn’t try "Flying in the Sky", the main attraction, but walked around Rocca Massima and enjoyed Parco delle Rimembranze / Parco della Memoria. Otherwise, we would never have found this special place.

The view over the valley was breathtaking, and the location was perfect for Fly in the Sky the next morning, just a two-minute walk away with a view the whole way. Our room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and just the right size for one night. Even on a hot 30-plus degree day, the temperature inside was good. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous, with cereals, juices, jams, sweet cakes, and fresh coffee made when we came downstairs. The hotel restaurant looked very popular, and the menu seemed delicious. If you get the chance to book here, do it!

In my opinion, this is Rocca Massima's jewel. The food and drinks are top quality, and the staff are friendly. The setting works for a lunch or dinner with a couple, family, or a celebration. From up there, the view takes in the whole valley toward the sea. If you get a warm summer night on the terrace, you can see all the lights below. We live nearby and haven’t stayed overnight, but people we know have enjoyed the B&B. Thank you.
