Locanda Pinocchio

The dishes were excellent and the price felt fair for what we got. Service was fast, and the hospitality deserves a solid 9/10. There were four of us. We ordered four appetizers, three first courses, one second course, a liter of house red, three liters of water, four desserts, and four coffees. The total came to 130 euros.

For a trattoria in the Lazio countryside, what more could you want? Plenty of parking, spacious rooms for serving lots of customers, and good food made with skill and passion. Locanda Pinocchio brings it all together. One tip: try the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, and enjoy!

The cuisine is the real highlight, simple food with old, authentic flavors that reflect local traditions, served with the warmth of Roman hospitality. It made for a special experience in a welcoming, family atmosphere. La Locanda di Pinocchio is a peaceful little haven surrounded by nature, where the quiet and fresh air hit you as soon as you arrive. Time seems to slow down away from the city. The woman who greeted us was incredibly kind and made us feel at home straight away.

Mrs. Eugenia welcomes everyone and takes care of guests from appetizers through dessert. We come back whenever we want to feel at home. This inn keeps alive a tradition that’s almost forgotten. In winter, the food, especially the chickpea and bean soups, tastes like old-fashioned home cooking.
