The landscape is breathtaking and made for a truly restorative break. I spent four magical days here and enjoyed every minute, with very good food, warm hospitality, great service, and excellent value. Many thanks to Mr. Roberto and his wife for making me feel at home. 🙏❤️

The drive at the end is the one drawback, with a steep, unpaved stretch and some awkward one-way sections. Still, I’d definitely recommend this really beautiful place. The views run from Mount Vettore to Gran Sasso, and there’s a small, very usable pool with a little restaurant beside it.

A lovely spot to unwind in nature, and especially nice for kids. The owners and staff are friendly and always ready to help. The view and pool are both top-notch, and the home cooking is delicious. Highly recommended. We’ll come back.

I make it to the pool at Canto del Gallo at least once each summer. The bumpy road has a few rough patches, but the fantastic view when you arrive makes up for it. It’s a wonderful setting, and I’d recommend staying for lunch too. The food is homemade and there’s plenty of it.
