We chose this place as a more affordable, convenient base for Taormina, which is about 30 minutes away by car. It’s recently renovated, on the ground floor, with new furniture, two toilets, all the basics for cooking, a large fridge and freezer, and even a washer and dryer. The towels and linens are good quality, and the main bedroom mattress was amazing, some kind of foam-latex base that gave us just the sleep we needed after walking all day. The pillows were good too. I need to get that mattress for home! It was spotless and very reasonably priced. You can park free on the street for one hour, enough time to unload suitcases and get settled. The host lives very close and was ready to check us in quickly, even at the last moment in the evening. I really recommend it. Thanks!

The village is beautifully kept, and people are friendly and helpful. The house is right in the center, with shops close by, from hairdressers and opticians to shoe shops, cafés, pizzerias, and a bakery. The sea is stunning too. We had a great stay in this warm, beautiful house, which was very clean and fully equipped, from the TV to the washer and dryer. The owner was kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

We only had one night here, with two adults and a child, but the place could sleep four. It was spotless and very well organized, with even a dryer. The hostess was attentive and quick to reply. There are free beaches nearby. It stayed cool without the air conditioning, which was available but we didn’t turn on. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer.

Roccalumera is lovely in its own right and makes a strategic base for places like Taormina, Castelmola, and the Alcantara Gorges. We literally felt at home here. The property was clean, modern, and functional. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is clean, nicely located, and very pleasant. But the wide-angle photos give a misleading impression of the actual size. At 25 square meters, the apartment is really only suitable for two people.
