Sonia and her family made us feel so welcome. If you're unsure about staying here, just go for it. It's worth the extra kilometers, and I highly recommend it.

We’ll definitely come back. The place is small but has every comfort, and it was clean and welcoming when my husband, our two children, and I stayed a few days ago. Roccamanfolfi is a quaint village, and the owners, Sonia and Ivan, were incredibly friendly and hospitable. A lovely spot for a few peaceful days, whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family. ❤️

The village’s winding alleyways are worth exploring, and the castle ruins and short suspension bridge (ponte tibetano) are about half an hour away and worth a visit, even if you’re not walking the Sentiero Italia. At Ivan’s B&B, I had a modern room with a kitchenette and a friendly, knowledgeable host. He hikes the trails (sentieri) himself and has helped maintain them, which isn’t something you can count on at every stage. At the beginning of October, it was excellent value: €35 for one person, including an Italian breakfast.

We’ll definitely come back. The owners are so helpful, and the people around the village are polite and always ready with a smile. Roccamandolfi is a lovely place to stroll if you’re after some peace and quiet. Our little apartment was spotless, fresh, and furnished down to the smallest detail, with every comfort. Its location also makes it easy to drive to lots of lovely places. We had three wonderfully tranquil days. ❤️
