Really lovely.

The rooms were spotless and smelled great, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The family who owns and runs the B&B were wonderful and welcoming. It was quiet inside, and the setting around it was peaceful too. I stayed one night at the start of my vacation, then came back again at the end. I didn’t even use the pool or glass veranda building, and still can’t say enough good things. I’m definitely coming back. Thanks for a great stay :) Edit April 2026: I returned for a third stay. The family is still wonderful, and it remains a comfortable place with unbeatable value.

The location made it easy to explore the villages and historic centers of southern Lazio, and to visit the fascinating Abbey of Montecassino. It’s also only a few kilometers from the highway exit. At B&B Il rifugio del tempo, the owners were great about meeting our requests, and breakfast was excellent. There’s a lovely pool in the greenery for cooling off on hot days, plus a charming bar area where you can have a drink in peace. The place feels welcoming and calm from the moment you arrive. It’s a little corner of paradise in Roccasecca, perfect for a quiet, relaxing break. Highly recommended if you need to recharge.

The owners are kind and helpful, and the property is very well kept, with modern rooms. There’s a pool in a beautifully landscaped garden, and the sweet breakfast with local products was excellent. Good value for money. We’ll stay here again if we’re ever back in the area.
