Borgo Fonte Lupo

We’re here for a wedding and were so glad to have one more night to enjoy the quiet. Breakfast was a treat: fresh apple cake, honey from the family, and figs from the garden. Alessandro and his parents were charming and helpful, always around when needed without hovering, and Alessandro speaks perfect English. Our room had lovely views, a very comfortable bed, and a great bathroom and shower. They’ve thought through all the little details. Thank you, Borgo de Murracci, for such a wonderful stay.

The views and peaceful setting were beautiful, and we were sorry to leave. We stayed for a long weekend while attending a two-day wedding nearby, and couldn’t have chosen better. Our room was clean and felt safe, with an amazing shower and a huge, incredibly comfortable bed. I haven’t slept that well in ages. Alessandro and his family were generous, attentive, and went out of their way to help with whatever we needed. We plan to come back and see more of the area. We’ll miss the daily greetings and cuddles from little Muffin and Bafona.

We ended up wishing we could stay longer, and we’ll definitely return. The garden had ripe fruit, the sunsets were incredible, and everything around us felt calm and relaxing. The owners were so kind and cared about us as people, not just guests. After a rough night with our baby, we missed breakfast one morning, but Alessandro and his parents waited and served us a delicious late meal. Alessandro’s mom’s crostata was especially good. Thanks for the warmest welcome 😊

The setting was stunning, tucked into beautiful Tuscan nature, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were excellent too. It’s a great base for exploring southern Tuscany, and I’d happily come back if I get the chance.
