The owners were very nice and helpful, but the place felt neglected. We paid 140eur for a two bed room, and it didn't feel worth that price. The interior and furniture seemed old and worn. It gave us the impression that not much had been invested in the agriturismo for some time.

The Placido family made us feel at home. The property is also a useful base for exploring historical Calabria, with a quiet farm producing its own food and a private beach reached by an underpass.

Being there was wonderful. The welcome, smiles and kind words stayed with me, along with the love for such a beautiful land. I still think of the olive and citrus groves, jasmine, the warm summer air, the sea and pebbles, and the night scents beneath the stars and Milky Way. Thank you, dear Marinella and Vanna.

The private way to the sea and beach was the one real plus. The accommodation itself didn't match the price. There was no air conditioning, and a sign in the kitchen said the water wasn't drinkable. The old-style shower was a problem too, switching between scalding water, cold water, and no water at all.

We had a lovely stay among the quiet olive trees and countryside, with clear, beautiful sea that wasn't crowded. There was a private beach, and the hospitality and professionalism were much appreciated.
