We asked the owner about a wine tasting, and he put together an amazing spread. There was so much wine and food that we skipped dinner and took a few bottles home. We visited three years ago, and this is still one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. We're trying to plan another trip to Italy just to come back here.

Luca welcomed us warmly when we arrived and was kind, friendly, and always ready to help make our stay special. The views on the way in are impressive, and the town has a lovely, peaceful feel. From La Sismonda, you can look across the whole region, with its medieval towns, vineyards, and striking landscapes. A great spot for photography, too. Rooms 1 and 2 have the best views in the hotel and a private balcony where you can enjoy a drink or take photos, though the balcony is shared between the two rooms. The day we arrived, Luca invited us to an aperitivo. It turned into one of the best hospitality and food experiences we've had, with lots of Italian dishes and local wines. We hadn't expected it, and it was a huge plus. Breakfast was very good and varied, with a view. The whole stay was so good that we'll definitely return. Thank you, Luca!

The rolling hills and vineyards around Rodello were incredible, and the rooms were clean and quiet. I never wanted to leave La Sismonda, easily my favorite stay of my life! Luca was a fabulous host and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We had so much fun with him over the excellent food and wine he provided. Already planning my next trip back!
