The views are lovely, but getting to them means staying far from everything, with nowhere within walking distance. Parking may be down a very steep slope, which made the daily climb back unpleasant. Inside, the rooms were extremely basic. My balcony felt so flimsy I wouldn't lean on it, and the shower was tiny enough that I had to step out midway through washing. A colleague stayed in February without heating, and the floors creak. Staff came across as abrupt and unwelcoming. One night we were refused hot water for a drink. The food was poor and the dining area cramped. The cats were the nicest part, though they weren't allowed indoors even in the middle of winter. I couldn't wait to leave.

The area was lovely for hikes and trips to pretty towns, and our bright, roomy room had a stunning view. Service was very friendly.

A tidy, welcoming place that's run really well.

Breakfast came with fresh lamb bread, and the bathrooms were excellent. The rooms were clean and furnished, with a bright, welcoming feel, though nothing fancy. It's a basic guesthouse, and I did miss having a TV in every room.

We found the rooms clean and spacious, and the hostess was kind and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, with a big shared TV room and a separate room for ping pong and foosball. The location worked well for walks to refuges and mountain huts, plus the Jochthal cable car is 5 minutes away, Brunico about 30 minutes, Bressanone 8 km, and Zumis parking 20 minutes. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
