Hotel Edoné

The food lacked flavor and a finishing touch. I wonder if paying just 1 euro more per portion would make it taste better. Putting buffalo cheese and tomato together from the supermercado would taste about the same. Take the 2€ couvert charge per person and put it toward better cooking. Service was slow, and the waitress came by only three times. The staff forgot to bring olive oil and salt, and it was too busy to ask for them. The food arrived quickly, but paying took 10 minutes, only for us to be told there was a central cashier.

The room was fine, and I liked having a balcony. The staff were super kind and spoke English well. It was quite noisy with the road right next to it. Breakfast was good enough, though there were mostly sweet things to choose from. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant twice and everything was very good. The menu was only in Italian, but the waitress helped us.

Bad, bad. The room was very clean, but the noise in the corridor all night was terrible. Dogs were walking around, and loud music went on until the early hours. The bathroom sink was clogged. I don’t recommend it, and the price is high for somewhere this noisy.

That third meal was even better than the first, and we ate here three days in a row. For €15, the buffet includes as many vegetables as you like, four first-course options, four second-course options, and half a bottle of sparkling wine. Tell the staff "Gino recommended you" and, as far as the reviewer promises, you'll have friends for life. You won't be disappointed.
