hu Roma Fabulous is a modern holiday village between Rome and the beaches of Ostia, surrounded by nature in the Roman Coastal Park. It has mobile homes, glamping tents, and pitches for tents, caravans, and campers. The large water park includes pools and jacuzzis, and there are sports courts, restaurants, bars, a mini market, playgrounds, and evening entertainment. Kids can join organized activities and mini clubs, while adults can enjoy the green surroundings. The location makes it easy to visit central Rome's Colosseum, Vatican, and Trevi Fountain, as well as the seaside resort of Ostia. It's open all year and pets are welcome in many accommodation areas. With a welcoming feel, modern services, and good access to the city, it suits families, couples, and groups looking for a comfortable outdoor holiday. Excellent place 🤞🏼😊🥰🥰🥳🥳

This was our second visit, and we're already talking about coming back next year. The whole place feels safe and friendly, and the accommodation was what you'd expect. There are three fantastic pools, plenty of food choices, and a well-stocked shop, though it's a little expensive. We saw a brilliant magic show one night, and the entertainment is good most nights.

It was our first time at the Hu village, so we weren't sure what to expect. It's an Italian campsite with chalets, tents, and campers. My son and I booked a five-person chalet, which was clean and came with all the linens we needed. It had two ensuite bedrooms, a kitchen diner, a front veranda, a parking space, lots of seating and tables, and plenty of sockets. The site is a good size, with three pools, a convenience store, a restaurant, two fast food spots, reception, an InfoPoint, showers, laundry, playgrounds, kids' games, and mini golf. It's easy and cheap to reach Rome by local bus and Metro, about 30 minutes, so it's a nice way to visit the Roman sights while staying away from the bustle and enjoying the Italian sunshine. The staff were helpful, and most spoke great English. Maintenance responded quickly whenever anything came up. Cleaning staff were always around emptying bins and keeping the place looking good. I can see why people return to this and other Hu sites. It's well run, with plenty to do, friendly staff, and good self-catering accommodation. We might try another Hu site next time we're on holiday.

The supermarket inside is affordable, though it only opens for a few hours in the morning and afternoon. The accommodation itself is great value in winter, but I expect it gets expensive in summer. Getting to central Rome takes close to an hour, so keep the distance in mind. A warning about the laundry: it costs a lot, and the machine doesn't return your coins if there's an error. The CCTV cameras are covered with cloth. When I asked at reception, the guy said the machine had been like that for ten years and nobody had fixed it. I suspect it's set up to take tourists' money, though that's just my belief. He also gave a strange explanation for some cameras being covered, saying they weren't registered with the police. I don't know if that's some kind of rule; I'd never heard of it.

The late night music and noise made this feel more like a nightclub than a quiet family campground. Pool music was very loud: on Saturday it started at about 10:00am and went on until around 12:30pm, when the DJs took a break. Loud music carried on late into the night too. If that's what you're after, you might like it, but I expected somewhere peaceful and it wasn't. We stayed in a deluxe unit for nearly a week in May 2026. Check-in on Friday evening took half an hour because the queue was so long. Once we got to the room, my son found there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The laundry room has seven washers but only two dryers, and the dryers don't take credit cards. The Wi-Fi was horrible, a total joke.
