The pool was lovely, clean, and made a great photo spot, and the location in the hills outside Rome was beautiful. The bar and restaurant staff were great, especially Sergio. The drinks were good, and the food was okay, with the freshly baked croissants the best part. Service at reception depended on who was working. When the two women were there together, one older woman seemed rude and acted like we were bothering her whenever we spoke. It also felt like she had no time for English speakers. Our chalet was very basic and not the cleanest, with no way to make tea or coffee. The shuttle to the local train station was useful but stopped at 9 pm, so we had to leave very early after taking a train, a bus, and another train to reach the free shuttle. We only did that once, then used taxis, which cost £40-£60 depending on traffic. The onsite market is tiny and has hardly anything in it.

I keep recommending Happy Village because I love it. This was my third trip to Rome and my second stay here. It's quiet and peaceful away from the city bustle, but still close to the center and the airport, which matters a lot to me. I love the green space and pool, and the houses are comfortable and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. The staff are always polite, and I think the restaurant food is the best in Rome.

The campsite was clean and well looked after, and the free shuttle made getting into central Rome easy. The restaurant had great food and a lovely atmosphere. I got friendly with the waiters, Lorenzo and Yassin, who were so welcoming. The pool was another highlight, and the lifeguard was kind and professional. I even tipped him for such impeccable service. Really impressive all around, couldn't have asked for a better stay. Bye for now, I'll definitely be back!

A really nice place just outside Rome. They run a shuttle to the train station every two hours, so you can catch a train into the city. Thanks very much.

We used the shuttle both days to reach the station and head into the city. It gets busy, so get there early, and the driver was friendly. The facilities were spotless, with laundry, and more showers and toilets than we've seen at campsites in Italy. The pool was clean and the lifeguard friendly. The restaurant was great for meals or just a coffee by the pool. The restaurant guys are the best, and so is the pizza. We loved our stay, and the friendly staff spoke good English, which we really appreciated. Perfect for visiting Rome, and we couldn't fault the site or its services.
