The room was dark, with a very, very small window, but for the price I paid I could accept that. It's about a 15-minute walk to the University. This is a decent hotel if you have something to do locally, but getting into Rome is time-consuming and difficult unless you drive. The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly, and the WiFi and air conditioning are quite good. The room was tidy but old.

Otherwise it was fine, but the air conditioning was hard to operate and the employees in the corridor made noise in the mornings.

We booked through the hotel's website, then found out on the day that they no longer use that booking system and were fully booked. We had to find somewhere else to stay that day. Terrible.
