The cafe nearby was a highlight. It served some of the best food I've had in three months in Italy. The room itself was a welcome break after two awful days walking on the road in a bit of a heatwave with my poorly dog. The owner was really helpful, and the place is nice. I hadn't realized I was renting just one of the two rooms in the apartment, not the whole apartment. Some other guests arrived later to use the second room. At that point I didn't mind, and it didn't cause a disturbance. The location between Rom and the beach is ideal if you've got a car. Without one, it's just somewhere in between.

We had a spacious room in the basement, and the guy who helped us check in was kind and really helpful. I've stayed at a lot of hotels around the world, and this one made my top five in Italy. Some people mention things like water stains in the bathroom. For the price, location and room size, I could overlook that. One downside: there are a lot of racist guys around town. If you're Asian, don't walk alone at night 😂

My daughter was left outside overnight, and I couldn't reach management on any of the listed phone numbers.

The croissant and coffee were a perfect start to the day, and the neighbors greeted us in a friendly way. The house is in a quiet complex, with access limited to people who live there. Eurospar is just around the corner and the train station is nearby, so you don't need a car to visit Rome. I'd recommend the apartment for a short stay or a brief connection to the airport. We had a three-bed room. The owner was very friendly and patient, and waited for us until 11 p.m. We weren't meant to arrive that late, but we took the wrong train, which didn't stop at Ponte Galeria. The room had everything we needed. It was hot when we arrived, and the AC worked well, but it was so loud I couldn't sleep even after a long day. The bathroom was very small, but clean and stocked with the basics: soap, a hairdryer, towels, toilet paper, hot water, a mirror and a trash bin. The beds were okay for my children, but too soft for me. My husband was so sweaty in bed that he chose to sleep on the floor. The bed wasn't to my taste, though that's personal preference. Also, the outside of the bathroom wall beside the small bed was very hot. I'm not sure why, maybe the water boiler. There was no information about TV channels for foreign guests, so we had to check them one by one.
