A cool, atmospheric old spot. The steps are pretty challenging and don't have handrails. Out back there are mostly flats, with a few improvised rails made from things like poles and signs. At the entrance, some ledges are great for grinding, though a few are damaged, and there's a manual pad too. Wax the ledges well, watch for little stones, and keep an eye out now and then so you don't get chased away.

I've stayed here several times for weddings and other events. It used to be one of the best hotels and conference centers just outside Brescia. Such a shame it's closed now.

Such a shame this hotel has closed. It was the loveliest one in the lower Brescia area.
