Ardiano 1818

Enza and Cristian made us feel like part of the family during our two days at this B&B. They were attentive and always available, and suggested places and restaurants to visit. Breakfast was excellent, with care taken over my daughter's lactose intolerance. A heartfelt thank you from Daniela and family.

A couple of things to know: the B&B has just two rooms and one shared bathroom, and finding it after dark was tricky because the signs in Ardiano aren't very clear. In daylight, it shouldn't be an issue. Once there, we found a small, charming, welcoming place, ideal for a weekend in nature. The owners were friendly and attentive to every need. Breakfast was varied and suited guests' needs and allergies. The area is great for hiking, cycling, and motorbike rides.

Breakfast was informal and very much homemade: I don't eat sweets, so they kindly made eggs from their own chicken and bacon, although that wasn't part of our package. The friendly couple running the B&B made us feel at home. Our room had an antique, grandmotherly style that suited the place, with thoughtful details and a good renovation. We were the only guests, so the shared bathroom wasn't an issue, and the spa shower was pleasant. We enjoyed a trek, dinner at a German-style trattoria in Ardiano, and stops at the Sorrivoli bar and the hamlet of Monteleone. A simple, authentic stay in the Romagna hills. Thank you.

This property takes Smartbox reservations, then asks for extra payment for services that the package already includes, handling things outside the platform's official network. When I hesitated, they canceled the reservation. Despite other reviews calling the service friendly, I found the approach inappropriate and lacking transparency.
