We had a balcony and a good view from our room. The bathroom looked a little old, but it was well cared for, and the shower head was new. The young man at the counter spoke Italian, German, and English well, and the staff were friendly. Dinner was a nice home-cooked meal, with two choices each day for starter, main, and dessert. Fondo is a cute village with a typically Italian feel. There seemed to be plenty to do nearby, but it was raining, so we moved on.

We loved the valley and mountain views, and the owners were warm and welcoming. The hotel is neat, with great rooms and beds. There's a lovely terrace and a sunbathing area with 2 jacuzzis. Breakfast was fine, and so was dinner on our half-board stay. Definitely recommend it!
