Residence Casa del Mar

I came back to the same place for another year and was really surprised by how good it was. The staff were amazing, the rooms clean, and the meal was from top chefs. There’s a quiet beach with your own private garden. They were very accommodating when I asked to change my check-in time. Everyone at reception was personally pleasant and smiling.

The hotel and the whole team are very friendly, and it seems equally suited to couples and families with children. It’s in a very quiet part of the city, almost right on the beach. I’d never gone back to the same place after a year before, but this time I did. Thanks to all the employees. This was our second stay, and it won’t be the last. Very good conditions, beach, pool, peace, and a relaxed atmosphere. Just right for a family holiday.

The location is good, but the place didn’t meet expectations. Wi-Fi was poor and only worked in a small area by reception. The restaurant had only a few dishes on offer that day, with no choice from a full menu. The bikes were supposedly free, but they wanted €1 per bike per hour, and they were in bad condition. There wasn’t a good spot to sit and order a drink, and there was no service. The swimming pool was tiny, with almost no room to sit in the sun around it. And the jacuzzi? Better not get me started. You might fit if you’re small enough.

The rooms are a good size, and the service was okay. Hardly anyone speaks English or German, and even the menu is only in Italian. The location has its good and bad sides. There’s a train by the residential building, but with the door closed it isn’t too bad. On the plus side, the beach isn’t far.
