Case Sobrini

We’ll definitely be back. This was our second visit, and the ladies at reception have been great, staying in touch ever since we booked. The price is excellent, too. Our ground-floor apartment has a garden and enclosed parking, and it’s just steps from the sea and pine forest. There are two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV lounge, two small inner gardens, and a little front garden with parking. Case Sobrini has several accommodation options, and we’re happy with this one. There’s also a residence with a pool and restaurant, plus apartments around the area whose guests can use those facilities, including secure parking. The pool and restaurant in Mazzanta (LI), near Cecina, the pine woods, and the friendly beaches make this part of Tuscany especially appealing. It’s very pet-friendly, too. Our Labrador was welcomed like an honored guest and given a bed, bowl, and treats.

We had a beautiful, recently renovated apartment and enjoyed our three days there as a group of four. The location was excellent, and the host was very kind and helpful at check-in. They had the apartment ready and let us in before the time on the reservation. The internet was down the entire stay, and there was no phone reception in the apartment. I asked for help, but all I got was “we’ll let you know,” with no details and no call back. When I brought it up at checkout, the person at the desk wasn’t very friendly and seemed to think I was bothering them. That’s why I’m giving four stars. I’d recommend the place, but hope for more helpful service next time.

There’s access to the pool at the nearby hotel, too. We had a wonderful holiday in a small house with its own garden, close to the sea. You can choose the free beach or the one associated with Bagno Tahiti. The apartment was well kept and had a dishwasher and two air conditioners.

The beach is only a 10-minute walk away, and there’s afternoon entertainment by the pool with kids’ dances in the evening. The staff are delightful, and the shared areas throughout the residence are kept immaculate. We’re near the end of our holiday in a studio apartment, which is tidy, clean, and basic, with everything needed to be completely independent. I think it’s a perfect spot for families with children.
