The rooms are spacious and tucked into greenery, though everything is just five minutes away. It's a lovely, family-run place, very clean and well looked after.

The owner and her daughter-in-law cook excellent meals, and the wines made on site are excellent too. Breakfast is generous. The owner family are attentive, kind, and very hospitable. Rooms are comfortable and spotless, in a beautiful panoramic spot in the Monferrato hills.

There aren't many rooms, but they really try to make guests comfortable. The place is very clean, the food is plentiful, and they're always there if you need anything. Highly recommended!

You need to book dinner ahead, but it's well worth trying. We shared a meal with friends, a classic Piedmontese spread: an amazing platter of cured meats, minced Fassona beef, spinach flan, Agnolotti, roast with potatoes, and Bunet. The sparkling white wine was delicious, and the service was special. The Montafia family are truly special people.
