We found the hosts welcoming, and they made sure our bicycles were safe. The apartment sits in a peaceful private park and was immaculate and very modern, with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, an Android TV, and a spa shower. There’s also a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, and a laundry room. The bed was huge, solid, and comfortable. Beautiful artwork and partly antique furniture give the house a lot of character. A dreamlike stay.

We had a wonderful few days here as a group of eight. The garden is spectacular, beautifully looked after, and surrounded by greenery. Getting to the property was the one small challenge, so use the property name in Google Maps instead of the address. The house has two inviting, spotless apartments, a larger one downstairs and a newer one upstairs, both equipped with everything we needed: towels, sheets, blankets, sugar, coffee, tea, a kettle, and a microwave. The owners live next door and made us feel so welcome, like we were at our grandparents’ home. They checked that we had what we needed, brought over three remote controls for our three cars, stopped for a chat, and even gave us a rose and a cutting from their lovely garden. They were thoughtful, kind, and always available. Many thanks for all the care. It was a really positive experience, and I’d recommend this special place for a relaxing break.

The hosts were very pleasant, and the large garden was well kept, with lots of lovely spots for photos. The rooms were spacious too. We spent our summer holiday here and enjoyed the place, but there was no internet in our room. You had to go to the hosts’ house to connect. If you need Wi-Fi for work, check in advance whether it’s available.

The private garden is spacious and well maintained, a lovely place to get some air or take a stroll in the morning sun. There’s a small parking area inside and a bike rack. The rooms have been renovated beautifully, with simple, tasteful furnishings. Our double bed was roomy and comfortable, and the separate thermostat let us set the temperature as we liked. The new bathroom had a generous shower and excellent fixtures. Our unit also had a kitchen with dishes, a two-burner induction hob, a kettle, a moka pot, and bins for sorting waste. It’s only a short walk to the sea and close to several northeastern art cities. A very positive stay, highly recommended.
