The apartments are spacious and well kept, and the pool was clean. Only one of the three lifeguards is friendly, though. Those points might earn another star, but what bothered me most was how the pool rules were handled. They're posted clearly at the entrance, yet staff seem to apply them however they like, depending on whether they like you. I may have misread the age, but I thought the rules said children under 12 must be with an adult. If that's right, it makes no sense that children aged 4-6 can swim without supervision just because their family owns a home in the residence. That rule matters for preventing accidents. The regulations also don't mention a ban on dogs in the solarium. I looked into it carefully, and as I understand it, unless the rules specifically prohibit dogs, they're allowed in. Please check before giving people false information. I hope the people in charge apply the rules fairly, instead of making exceptions for owners or friends. Have a good day.

The beach is about a 15-minute walk from Solmare, and it's lovely when the weather is good, though it can get rough when it's windy. This family-friendly complex in Rosolina Mare has terraced houses and a shared pool. The villas are somewhat dated, but clean and maintained, with practical furnishings. The pool could use some work but is usable, and children have safe play areas monitored by video surveillance. Good value for money, and recommended for families.
