Casa dei Granati

A lovely, calm break with a great host. His two little dogs were adorable too.

We felt at home straight away thanks to the owner, who was so welcoming and lovely. The rooms were spotless, with elegant, thoughtful furnishings, and breakfast came with a generous mix of seasonal fruit. The place itself is enchanting, tucked into the beautiful Sicilian countryside. We'll definitely come back to see her, her children, and their sweet dogs.

Mr. Manfredi made sure I had soy milk for my cappuccino each morning because I'm lactose intolerant, which felt just like being at home. He was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The property is kept spotless and cared for down to the details, with spacious rooms and personal hygiene kits. It's surrounded by greenery and well placed for exploring all of Val di Noto, between the sea and the area's culture. Breakfast had a Mediterranean spread, from fruit to toast. I really valued the warm hospitality and location, and would come back without hesitation.

Atos and Zelda are a treat if you love dogs, and the owners are just as memorable. The husband and wife were wonderful, with lovely family-like smiles and such good conversation over a breakfast that was both fresh and plentiful. The farmhouse sits in classic Sicilian countryside, in a handy spot for getting to the area's attractions. Inside, the new rooms have very comfortable mattresses and roomy bathrooms. The property is magnificent. Thank you for such a rare, lovely experience. I hope to see you again soon.
