At Il Casale Granati Vecchi, the pool is gorgeous and playing on the padel court made our stay even more fun. It's a peaceful little oasis in nature where time seems to slow down. That authentic rural calm really does you good. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The rural setting is so relaxing, and there are plenty of comforts alongside the gorgeous pool and padel court. Casale Granati Vecchi has everything I wanted for a proper unwind. I came back feeling completely refreshed. Definitely worth trying.

There were 15 of us, and we stayed from August 2nd to 9th. The farmhouse is ideally placed for visiting all the Montalbano locations, and we felt at home with the Sicilian atmosphere and all the comforts. The place is beautiful and lovingly maintained, the pool was lovely and cleaned every day, and every small request was handled right away. When we arrived two hours early, the owners seemed very nervous, though the owner later apologized. The beauty of the location and farmhouse far outweighed that first moment. I highly recommend it.

The garden is full of lovely colors and scents, and the common spaces are roomy, comfortable, and very versatile. The pool is a delight, relaxing and cleaned regularly. The owners clearly look after the farmhouse with care and love, and everything is meticulously maintained. From here, it's easy to reach supermarkets and other town services, as well as take short trips around the Ragusa area and its beautiful towns. Highly recommended.

The house was spacious, welcoming, and clean when we arrived. There were 15 of us staying for 7 days, but we had several problems. The pool was never cleaned, and nobody told us where to find a cleaning robot so we could do it ourselves. Its lights came on at 8:00 PM and went off at 10:45 PM. We politely asked the owners to adjust the hours while keeping to the 2-hour limit, but the owner was arrogant about it, and it took three days of insisting before anything changed. The hot tub wasn't included in the advertised price and cost €30 per day. When we chose to use it, the owner came by at 4:00 PM and said he'd switch it off that evening, apparently treating a day as less than 24 hours. The worst part for us was the €100 deposit we paid on the first day. At checkout, the owner refused to return it, claiming deductions for services we hadn't asked for, including waste disposal, and kept €50 without reason. His wife, in contrast to her rude, grumpy, unwelcoming husband, was very kind and helpful.
