Hotel Palace

Everything we ate was delicious, with a really excellent balance of quality and quantity. The five of us had lunch at the Palace Hotel today and paid €13 per person. The price included wine, water, service charge, and coffee. We chose lasagna with meat sauce, grilled pork loin, and several side dishes. The dining room was bright and well maintained, with plenty of parking. Recommended!

I stop in for lunch often, and the prices are very reasonable. The service is excellent, the food is excellent too, and everything is prepared with skill and professionalism. Kindness comes first. Highly recommended.

I’ve stayed here twice for work, in two different rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the rest of the hotel is lacking in basic routine maintenance and care. The rooms are run down, and only one bathroom has been redone. Breakfast has a limited selection, mostly packaged items. At €65 a night, a single room feels a bit expensive for what you get. The linens are clean, but you hear all the street traffic whether you're on the first or third floor, and the windows are single-glazed. There’s a restaurant too, though I didn’t use it.

The windows and doors look like they date from 1990 and really need replacing, and the air conditioning isn't adequate. The current management has done very little renovation. I wouldn't recommend this place as a bar or a restaurant.
