Villa Daiana

I'd give it exactly 2.5 stars. We stayed in August 2025 and didn't have a great time. The house didn't quite match the photos. The sofa-bed room was green, while the other two rooms shown as "red and pink" were actually white, and the beds differed between rooms. The master bedroom bed was too low and uncomfortable, and felt like a tripping hazard at night. All the beds, including the sofa bed, creaked a lot and disturbed everyone. The living room sofa was a very uncomfortable piece of wood with a hole in it, and the dining chairs were hard and uncomfortable too. The kitchen was small and awkward to use, especially the hood. The dishwasher didn't clean utensils properly, the stove wouldn't spark so I had to use a lighter each time, and the barbecue sink leaked. The kitchenware should be more substantial and from a recognizable brand. The vacuum was awkward and weak, so I had to buy one myself. The rooms and kitchen were too dim, although the hallway was well lit. Water pressure was so low that we had to wait for the other bathroom to be free to shower, and couldn't use both at once. The tub and showerhead in the first bathroom were inconvenient, with a risk of slipping and spilling water if you weren't careful, and the bathroom door was defective. Two bedroom door keys were missing. The drying racks had two broken spokes, and the Wi-Fi was very slow or sometimes didn't work at all. The husband who gave us the keys was nice, but his wife seemed a bit old-fashioned. The pool deck was all green, which I found a bit disgusting to use. The stairs to the terrace seemed a little dangerous without a railing. They had cut the grass around the house, but it was still tall near the olive trees. Housekeeping wasn't quite up to scratch for the price and category of the vacation rental villa.
