We stayed at Villa Roncuzzi in August 2025, Mr and Mrs Luca Tantimonaco. The gardens look beautifully kept, with lighting that makes the evenings feel magical. Ground-floor rooms open onto the garden or pool area, giving a nice sense of privacy and connection with the outdoors. Every room has its own character and thoughtful design touches. The facilities are accessible to guests with disabilities, too. The building was once a historical convent and has been renovated with care, keeping its old-world elegance while adding modern convenience. It’s impeccably clean and well maintained throughout. Fresh white cotton linen is everywhere, and the towels are luxuriously soft, with extra ones offered for the pool. The orangery dining area was immaculate, down to the wonderfully soft napkins. Breakfast was fresh and varied, served with care. The staff were hospitable and made us feel valued, always ready with helpful recommendations and warm conversation. Villa Roncuzzi is close to the motorways and Adriatic coast, and well placed for exploring Ravenna and beyond. It sounds perfect for summer by the pool, and the cosy lounge also makes it appealing in winter. A rare blend of history, beauty, and comfort, and an unforgettable experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Getting there is a little challenging, but the hospitality makes it worthwhile. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the comfortable hotel has the old-world charm and feel of a friend’s home.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were great. We’ll definitely be back :)

We were there in January, so the grounds looked very nice but not at their best. I imagine they’re stunning in spring, summer, and fall. The room and bathroom were large and spotlessly clean.

A great choice for a quiet, peaceful stay. The staff are very friendly and the kitchen is really good. Relax by the pool and enjoy an aperitif...
