Albergo Casale

The location is spectacular, especially from the balcony in the evening, watching the moon appear behind the mountains. The owners were super friendly, the beds were good, and breakfast was good too. Evy the Malamut loves cuddles :-D The hotel is charming, but very old and dated. It has character, though it could definitely use some updates.

I was amazed by this place when I came with my school for a ski trip. I'm in year 9. The food was fresh and tasty, the showers warm and clean, and the rooms and beds were both big, clean, and comfortable. Everyone was kind and understanding. I really loved it here.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and breakfast, which was included, was quite acceptable. Still, the hotel has seen better days. The washbasin was cracked, the shower tray filled with water and looked close to overflowing, there were no bedside lights, and a balcony chair was broken, as shown in the photo. Apparently the restaurant closed two years ago. For a fairly cheap one-night stay it was just about okay, but I wouldn't want to stay much longer.

The family-run hotel has a traditional feel, with antique furniture, interesting artwork, and woodcarving. The staff were lovely, the view excellent, the food good, and the price reasonable. We had an excellent stay, though a good bedside lamp and tea or coffee in the room would have made it perfect.
