Villaggio Gerbore

The huge outdoor area felt wonderfully open, and even our dog and cat could enjoy it without restrictions. There’s also a lovely shared room with magazines about the Aosta Valley, books, maps, ping pong, and foosball. We found Villaggio Gerbore by chance online and came back from a dream stay. Laura and Alessia welcomed the five of us with such warm smiles. They’re incredibly sweet and patient, and our apartment was spotless and just right. The valley views are breathtaking. It’s a magical place for anyone who loves the mountains, hiking, and hard work, or simply wants peace and quiet. Thank you, Laura and Alessia, for making us feel so welcome. We’ll be back soon with even more friendship in our hearts 😘😘😘

I’m heading back to the Aosta Valley this year, which brings back fond memories of a family holiday with friends there about thirty years ago, when I was a child.

The view from the Gerbore village is breathtaking, and the apartments are nicely furnished, with kitchens, heating, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. There’s a shared area with activities, and the owner is very kind and helpful. It’s a little gem in the mountains, especially for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature. The price feels fair for that kind of quiet getaway. Getting there is the main drawback: it takes a while from Aosta, and the drive is all uphill. Recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Villaggio Gerbore, thanks to the kindness and discretion of Sig.Laura and her daughter Alessia. The apartment was very clean and had all the comforts we needed. Outside, there’s lots of green space to relax in, for us and my little dogs, plus a lovely mountain view. We’d absolutely come back.
