The hotel is right in town, so getting around was easy. We only stayed one night, but the room had a lovely mountain view and a simple, classic look that felt chic. The staff were kind and went out of their way to welcome us, which you don't often see these days. We ate at the restaurant too, and both the beef and wine were very good.

We used the hotel as a base for trips around Aosta, and its central location worked really well. Valle d’Aosta had only just reopened, so the restaurant was unfortunately quiet, but that meant we got to spend time chatting with Sylvie and her team over a great bottle of local wine. The chef cooked our meat dishes in front of us at the restaurant's antique fireplace. Duck to start was tender, and the deer carpaccio was thin and full of flavor. The tagliatelle and mixed meat skewer came next, followed by a fantastic dessert. A wonderful dinner, and a lovely little find in St Vincent. I'd happily recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

The host picked a wine for us with real skill, and it went beautifully with the food. The dishes were simple, but so good. Sublime is the word for this restaurant.

The staff were lovely, and the service was top quality. A charming place, and one I'd say is worth visiting while you're in town. Compliments to them.
