The walk down the hill into town takes about ten minutes, and the climb back is a workout, but it was well worth it. Our room was comfortable and very clean, the views were awesome, and the location was great. The charming breakfast "cave" served a wonderful meal with home-baked bread. Omar and his family made us feel very welcome. Absolutely fabulous, and thoroughly recommended.

We enjoyed the atmospheric rooms and pleasant garden, and the setting came with a magnificent valley view. Breakfast was very good. The host was helpful and knew the area well, and the ski resorts were an easy drive away.

Walking the via francigena from Aosta-StVincent, we were so glad we stayed a little uphill instead of at a hotel downtown. The room was great and the views peaceful. You can order food from a local restaurant and eat it in the garden. There's also a shortcut, some stairs from town to Le Rosier, so the walk is shorter than Google suggests.
