The staff were patient, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the service was wonderful. The restaurant is a must, the food was excellent and beautifully prepared. Staff knew their wines and gave helpful pairing suggestions. Breakfast was superb too, with plenty of savory and sweet options at a very fair price. There’s reasonably priced parking right across from the hotel. Several places to eat are nearby, and you can see a landmark church from the room balcony. A Carrefour supermarket is just a few steps away, which is handy. It’s about a 40 minute drive to Cervinia, convenient for skiing. Compared with the expensive accommodation up on the mountain, this hotel is a gem. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely stay again.

The room was spacious, and the spa felt great after a day skiing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and parking was close by. My only complaint is that the bathroom had a bathtub instead of a shower.

The service turned what could have been a nice stay into a ridiculous experience. We opened the window in the evening for some fresh air, but thick smoke came in and the room became hard to breathe in. Reception said the restaurant behind the hotel grills over a wood fire and there was nothing they could do. We understood, but asked whether we could switch rooms because breathing in ours was difficult. They said another room was available, but we’d have to pay for it in full on top of the room we’d already paid for. I’ve never had anyone make such an absurd offer. I’d never written a review before, but this awful service deserved my first.

A real gem in the Aosta valley. The small hotel spa is the best setup I’ve come across, and the breakfast, customer service, room and amenities were all excellent. The attached restaurant was excellent too. It’s right on the main street with eateries all around, next to the bus stop for trips up and down the valley. Walkers on the Via Francigena will find the location perfect.

We made a late booking after our driving tour ran out of daylight. The rooms were perfectly fine, and in the morning there was a hearty cooked buffet breakfast. Secure underground parking was available, which suited us perfectly. A solid 8/10!
