Adele made us feel right at home, told us about the villa and the family’s history, and prepared a lovely breakfast on the terrace. We stayed one night with breakfast, and the quiet park made it feel special. There are tall old trees all around, and in the evening we sat outside by candlelight, listening to the frogs in the water basin and owls in the trees. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. A beautiful night. I’d absolutely recommend the villa to anyone who loves nature and wants to relax.

We had a great time with the owners, who were attentive and kind, and breakfast downstairs had a welcoming, family feel. Getting to interesting spots like Torrechiara Castle, the Pasta Museum, and Parma’s city centre from the villa was easy. The villa sits in a beautiful park, enclosed by stone walls. Parking is inside the grounds and covered. Our room was reached through a lovely wisteria pergola, in full bloom in late April. It was quiet, well away from the noise. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and very clean, with a shower. There was Wi-Fi and satellite TV, mosquito nets, and outside shutters that closed completely, which let us sleep in total darkness.

The lady of the house gave us a delightful welcome. The villa is nestled in a lovely park, with a pleasant outdoor area for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent and had everything we needed. Our room was inviting and comfortable, with perfect mattresses and pillows, and above all it was spotless. Recommended.
