The rooms were spotless and welcoming, with a good layout, comfortable bathrooms, and lovely grounds. But what stayed with us most was the feeling of being at home. The owners looked after us from the moment we arrived until we left, with such warmth and care that saying goodbye brought tears to our eyes. We spent long, easy hours chatting by the pool, and also enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. It felt genuine and simple, with kindness, respect, friendship, and gratitude at its heart. A place that does you good, and one we’d happily return to. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

The views are breathtaking, and there’s a lovely pool and an excellent breakfast. It’s a peaceful spot, with attentive, kind people who are available from booking right through to departure. Parking, Wi-Fi, card payments, and an accessible room are available too. They’re usually careful to ask about your needs when you book, but do mention anything special you might need.

The Sanctuary of San Michele is enchanting, and there are beautiful places to visit nearby. We spent just three days here, but they were wonderfully relaxing. The owners are lovely, always friendly and ready to help. Breakfast was generous, with delicious homemade desserts, and the setting is surrounded by nature. We’ll definitely be back. 😍

It’s a very quiet location, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was good, too. The downside is that the rooms have no soundproofing at all, and the bathrooms aren’t adequate.
