Salemi turned out to be a beautiful surprise, and this lodging was a great find. The owner communicated well and was quick to respond. The town has a lot of history, with a lovely castle and church ruins left by the last great earthquake. The lodging is 50 meters from the ruins. The area is very old, maze-like, and full of character, which we really liked. We had a scooter, though, and that made getting there much easier. Large cars will have trouble arriving and parking, so it's best to use the parking areas. The place itself is clean and fresh, right in the heart of Salemi. It has all the amenities, and it's a nice location if you enjoy old, Arab-style centers.

You can wander through the lanes around the majestic Castle and explore the nearby area from here. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the heart of Salemi's historic center, with a warm, family feel.

Getting there means taking a very narrow road, which isn't suitable for wide cars or anyone uncomfortable with tight streets. The place itself is comfortable and clean, so I'd give it four stars if it weren't for the shower stall, which feels too cheap and is partly detached, along with some other neglected bathroom details.

Right in the historic center, this place feels typical and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and there's Wi-Fi. What stood out most was the kindness and courtesy. I'd definitely recommend it.
