We were glad to find la giumarra open during siesta, and enjoyed lunch there with my family. The portions were generous, the prices great, and the Sicilian food authentic. I only learned there that pizza in Sicily is served after 6pm 😆 We'll definitely come back!

The food was delicious and plentiful, and we had an unhurried meal. We turned up without a reservation on Sunday, when the restaurant was full, but the owner did their best to find us a table. The fixed-price menu offered fish or meat dishes, and we went with the meat. We also ordered a bottle of local Syrah, which was superb. The bill was very reasonable. We really enjoyed the unexpected lunch and will be back.

We were looking for somewhere open during riposo and luckily came across la giumarra. My creamy gnocchi and my partner’s mushroom pasta were both delicious. We were happy with the meal, and it was good value.
