We'd definitely stay here again on a visit to Salerno. The B&B is cozy, very clean, and had everything we needed. The host was lovely and welcoming, and made us feel at home. Every day she put out a great spread of food and drinks: coffee, fresh fruit, bread, local snacks, and drinks. The location was just as convenient, around 10-15 minutes on foot from the train station straight down the main road, and about the same distance from the Amalfi Coast bus terminal and ferry pier.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the AC handled the hot, humid weather really well. We spent 6 nights at B&B Orchidea, and the location suited us perfectly. The hostesses were gracious, attentive, and easy to reach, and they really went above and beyond. They also timed the delicious breakfast to fit our schedule. Definitely stay here!

The room had comfortable beds, a large bathroom, and plenty of space for three. It also came with air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator, and a balcony. The property was quiet at night, and it's roughly a 15-minute walk to the train station, ferry terminal, and the bus terminal on Via Vinciprova. Breakfast was available whenever we wanted, with a good selection: coffee, milk, juices, fresh and packaged pastries, toast, cakes, sandwich bread, and spreads. Fresh pastries appeared around 8:00 a.m. The property is about a 30-minute walk from central Salerno, and the Wi-Fi was weak. We stayed 7 nights, but the room was cleaned just once. On checkout day, we couldn't leave our bags at the property, and the manager suggested the newsstand inside the train station. Breakfast is self-serve rather than brought to the table, and the three-seat table was uncomfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, and the B&B is within walking distance of the city center, train station, and ferries to Amalfi.
