Staying in a former church was a unique chance to feel surrounded by history. The place was fully functional and close to the lungomare and main attractions. Our host was lovely and took the time to tell us about the building's history, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The historic center location made it easy to enjoy Salerno's art and nightlife. At B&B Santa Maria dei Barbuti Salerno, the owner was so hospitable and helpful that we felt like privileged guests. Our room had every comfort. I highly recommend it.

The owner was gracious and old-school in the best way, with lovely hospitality and courtesy. The B&B is in the middle of Salerno's historic center, with elegant, refined furnishings in a vintage style. It was clean and had every comfort, plus a lovely terrace for dining outdoors and enjoying the cool breeze. A delightful stay.
