Blu Arechi Camere di Charme - Salerno

The staff were extremely friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something. The rooms are bright, air-conditioned, very clean, and have mosquito nets. The B&B is in a brand-new building in the Arechi area of Salerno, about 500 meters from the sea. The walk to the beach isn't ideal, since there's no tree cover and part of the route is still being built. Not every room has its own bathroom. There's a kitchen, but you can't cook there; it's just for quick things like making coffee or tea, or preparing a packed lunch. Breakfast is included and served at the Maremó beach bar.

Our host was so kind and gracious, and responded to every request with real care. The place is new, bright, immaculately kept, and has a panoramic living room. From the fifth floor of this elegant building, the view stretches from Agropoli to Capo d'Orso. There’s plenty of private parking, and a varied breakfast is only a few minutes away on foot. We wanted somewhere outside Salerno's center but easy to reach by bus and subway, and this worked out perfectly for two fantastic days. It was so comfortable and convenient that we nearly forgot to visit the beautiful historic city. Even Lombard Prince Arechi would have been proud. B&Bs this good are rare.

I sent some friends here for a weekend, and they came back absolutely delighted. The property is new and clean, with a breathtaking terrace. Its location makes it handy for both the Cilento and Amalfi coasts, and being close to the airport is another plus. I highly recommend it.
