We left pretty disappointed. The place looked clean and nice at first, but the toilet didn’t work. We told the host, Giorgio, and he said he’d fixed it and that we just had to flush twice. That sometimes worked, but we didn’t want to make a fuss. Water pressure was poor as well. If someone in another room turned on the water, ours dropped a lot, including in the shower. The shower was the biggest problem: the water swung between hot and cold, then would suddenly get scalding and burn our skin. That felt dangerous. The place was worn down and poorly maintained. We were meant to pay 30euros for late check-in, but said we weren’t sure we should given the below average service. When I explained the problems, Giorgio didn’t apologize and seemed to know about them already without caring. He just said we could skip the late fee. On our last morning, he told the cleaner not to clean our room, as she had on the other days. That felt petty. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
