Palazzo Conforti B&B

Palazzo Conforti at via Torquato Tasso 56 dates to the second half of the eighteenth century. Built in Rococo style, it reflects a style that found success in Campania through Ferdinando Sanfelice’s architectural models. The imposing polygonal entrance portal is clear evidence of that. The building has the shape of a large T and extends on both sides of the street. Its facade has windows and balconies decorated with stucco, frames, and pediments. Inside the spacious courtyard is an open staircase typical of Sanfelice’s architecture, enriched with three tiers of loggias. It consists of three ramps and six pilasters running its full height. On the second floor, a hanging garden surrounds a circular fountain. The interior rooms have frescoes and painted canvases above the doors.
