It's a smaller hotel in a good spot near the lake. The people working there were nice, and breakfast was okay.

The room smelled bad, and the sound insulation was poor.

My stay was a disappointment. The rooms were small, and most had no balcony, with views of the inside and the front of another building. There's no elevator. In the morning there was no hot water, and the toilet kept making noise as it flushed. A plumber spent practically the whole day cleaning in my room, so I couldn't use it. When I came back from a walk, he was still there with my things in the room, and no one had even told me he would be there. They charged full price for both nights and didn't offer a discount. I strongly advise against staying here.

For three years, we've spent a few days at Hotel Central Giacomini in Salò. It's right in the town center by the lake, making it a great base for walks and ferries to other places. The rooms are clean and well equipped, breakfast is excellent, and the staff are courteous and professional. The owner deserves a special mention for always being attentive and available when needed. I highly recommend it.
