Coffee outside in the morning, looking out at the lake, made us realize we’ll have to come back soon. The room was clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious. Everyone we met who worked at the hotel and restaurant was helpful and courteous, always smiling. The restaurant was great. The mussels, an unexpected “gift” from the kitchen, were the best we’ve ever had. The duck ragù was tremendous, simple but tasty and perfectly done. I highly recommend staying here and booking dinner at Locanda del Benaco!

The way we were treated was so disrespectful that we asked them to cancel our reservation. We’d booked a table for two at 12:00 and arrived 15 minutes early with our dog. It was busy, so I politely asked if we could sit at our already-set table and wait. The staff were having lunch inside, which was completely fine. I opened the door and apologized for interrupting, but a man I think was the chef snapped at me, called me “bella stupido,” and angrily banged his fork. I’ve never experienced such unprofessional behavior at a restaurant. None of our family or friends will stay or eat there again. Bella stupido!

We loved every bit of it, and we're not easy to please. The food was out of this world, and the calm atmosphere came with an incredible lake view. Service was excellent too. Everything was perfect! 👌😇

The food was delicious and the restaurant had a lovely, welcoming feel. One thing really needed more attention, though: I’d said at the start that I was pregnant, but nobody told me the signature dessert contained alcohol. I couldn't enjoy it and gave it to my husband instead. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed. Still a good experience, but being more attentive to guests would make it much better.

That lakeside view from the front row is incredible, and pets who behave well are welcome too. I loved the spacious, clean room and the hosts were lovely. The food was so good, both at dinner and breakfast. Choosing this place was the best decision.
