You can leave the car parked for most of the holiday, with bars, restaurants, and shops only a few meters away. Casa Fernanda has been recently renovated, is spotless, and is just steps from the sea. The owner is always kind and helpful, so let her point you in the right direction if you want to explore other lovely parts of Salento.

The house was spotless and needed no updating. It’s only a short walk to the bar and other shops in the center, and counting to 15 gets you to the seafront in front of the Tower. We spent 10 days at Casa Fernanda and found the owners very hospitable. Ms. Fernanda is lovely and glad to help with anything she can.

We picked the bedroom with a double bed and a single, and it was spacious, with a wardrobe and two dressers. The dishes, glasses, cutlery, and cookware were all in excellent condition, and the whole house was spotless. It’s recently renovated and has air conditioning, though we didn’t always need it because it tends to stay cool, depending on your preference. The house is about 10 meters from the sea and a phenomenal beach. There are two apartments, each with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The other bedroom has a double bed and two singles.
