Agriturismo Amaranto

Valerio is a wonderful person, and the place feels magical, tucked into a beautiful park among olive trees. The rooms are lovely and very well cared for. Families have a little playground for children, and there’s a hot tub you can book. There are eight apartments for two people and two for four. I’d highly recommend it to couples and families.

It’s very peaceful and good for children, in a lovely park about 1 km from the sea. The property is modern, in excellent shape, and Valerio, the owner, is kind and happy to help with requests. I’d use a car to get to the beach. The road to the beach and the nearest village isn’t great.

We booked a massage and enjoyed it in the shade of the pine trees in the beautiful pine forest. Our small apartment was clean and had the dishes we needed, plus mosquito nets on all the windows and doors. We liked being able to sleep with the windows open without running the air conditioning. Valerio was kind, efficient, and helpful when we got stranded with our car, and helped us get back to the agriturismo. The place is well-kept and quiet, above Pescoluse but still near the sea. A lovely breeze kept us cool on hot July days and let us eat outside. We highly recommend it!

Valerio, who manages the place, was friendly and kind, and shared his garden produce with us every day. We had a clean, spacious apartment with a nice porch, and the property is well maintained and peaceful. It sits a little above town, about 1 km from the beach. For our first trip to Salento, this was a relaxing place to stay. Recommended if you’re coming for the beaches known as the “Maldives of Salento.”
