The area was really quiet, and the owner was friendly. We spent five nights here and had a great stay. The studio had everything we needed for a short visit, including a big bathroom and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The dishes could have been cleaner. We had what we needed to cook, though I did miss having a frying pan.

Mr. Massimo was so kind and welcoming, and the property itself felt inviting and had all the comforts we needed. We stayed August 14-19 and found it easy to get around from this handy location. We had a great time and will definitely return. 😊😊😊😊

Massimo and his wife are lovely people. They helped me find a good seller of local products, and I already have Christmas gifts in mind for family and friends. I came back after nearly ten years and had saved Massimo’s number because I wanted to repeat the experience. His family was caring and helpful again. The small apartment was simple and had a terrace, with room for three. It was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and there’s a free washing machine. The kitchen and fridge are small, just about enough for two adults and a child. Salve is a friendly, very quiet little town, pretty in its own way though less scenic. Minimarkets, supermarkets, pizzerias and restaurants are close; some of the more gourmet places are walkable. Main courses seem to cost about 13-15 euros, depending on whether you get meat or fish. You’ll need a car since the residence is about ten minutes from the sea. There’s street parking and free covered parking. The beaches nearby are wonderful, though not every one. I’d drive 15-20 minutes toward Ugento, where the beaches are lovely and next to a campsite. I prefer the free beach with two umbrellas and a big towel stretched between them for shade and space. Finding room for an umbrella and lounger can be a pain. I’m not sure what else to say. Go, you won’t regret it.

My son and his friends had a great stay here. It was clean and excellent value, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. I recommend it.
